When reporting a problem, please include
- Your Windows version (Settings → System → About) or macOS version (Apple menu → About This Mac).
- The Skyhook app version (shown in the app's settings).
- The diagnostics file: choose Export Diagnostics… in the app (Windows: Settings or the tray icon; Mac: the menu-bar icon or Settings), save the zip it offers, and attach it. It holds your settings, your display and playback state, and the app's log — and no personal data: no account, no name, no e-mail, and file paths with your user folder blanked out. The README inside lists exactly what it contains.
- What happened, and what you expected to happen.
- A screenshot, if the problem is visible.
Common questions
The wallpaper hasn't updated today. Skyhook downloads new tours in the background and keeps playing the newest one it has. Checks are skipped on metered connections (and optionally on battery) — the current tour's date is shown in the app so you always know what you're looking at.
How much disk space does it use? Videos are kept in a local cache with a size cap you control in settings; the oldest tours are removed automatically.
Purchases, refunds, and subscriptions are handled by the store you bought Skyhook from, not by us.
- Windows (Microsoft Store): manage or cancel at account.microsoft.com/services; request a refund through your order history.
- Mac (Mac App Store): manage or cancel in System Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions; request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
