Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-08-20 · Applies to the Skyhook wallpaper & screensaver app and this website.

The short version

Skyhook has no accounts, no sign-in, and collects no personal information. The app downloads videos; that's the whole story.

What the app does

The Skyhook app periodically downloads video files and a small catalog file from our content delivery network (Cloudflare) and plays them on your desktop. These requests are ordinary, anonymous HTTP downloads — they carry no account identifier, device identifier, or personal information, because the app has none to send.

What we don't collect

Aggregate delivery metrics

Cloudflare, which serves our video content, provides us with aggregate, anonymous statistics — total request counts and bandwidth. We use these only to understand overall usage and operate the service. Cloudflare, as the network operator, processes connection data (such as IP addresses) transiently to deliver content and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We never see individual users' IP addresses or download histories.

Purchases and subscriptions

Skyhook is sold through the Microsoft Store. All payment, billing, and subscription management is handled entirely by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We never receive your payment details. The app checks its own license status locally through the Windows Store licensing API.

This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is served by Cloudflare, whose transient connection handling is described above.

Children

We collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
